- This movie is the final episode of "Superkids" 4-video collection which began with "The Intruder", then "The Armor of Light", and then "The Sword". It is also tied into the cliff-hanger ending that ended "The Sword", although to my knowledge it was the only episode to be released in theaters. The story opens with Commander Kellie (Kellie Copeland-Kutz) recounting the final events in "The Sword", how NME's weapon was destroyed, and the loss of the SuperKid Academy due to several bombs placed by an NME spy. The Blue Squad escapes two pursuing NME fighters, but are stranded on the top of a snowy mountain range when their ship "The Exodus" crashes due to damage inflicted by NME. They try unsuccessfully for 6 months to leave the mountain before Alex (Joel Davis) finds a way to send a homing signal to the new Superkids base. This signal not only alerts Commander Dana (Dana Johnson), who immediately comes to the rescue, but also Major Dread (Emory Rose) at NME headquarters, who is determined to redeem himself of his past defeats and capture Commander Kellie. Working with Major Dread is Lawmaster Beliar (Jan Berry), who considers Major Dread a rival and insists that he not stand in her way. Overseeing the attempts to capture Commander Kellie is General Fear (Aaron Heeg), who appears to hold higher rank than the other two. Major Dread and Lawmaster Beliar arrive at the Superkids rendezvous point in time to capture Missy (Elizabeth Stewart) just before she reaches her friends and their escape craft, "The Genesis". At this point the Blue Squad is split up with Valerie (Jenny VanWagner) lying unconscious at the bottom of a cliff, Alex lying unconscious in an underground tunnel, and Missy in the hands of Lawmaster Beliar. Only Rapper (Stephen Glenn), Paul (Ryan Brockington) and Commander Kellie escape. The Genesis takes the survivors to the new Superkids Emergency Headquarters where they reunite with CJ (Jennifer Landes), once a traitor but converted to Christianity just before the bombs she planted destroyed the Academy. Here CJ is reconciled to Commander Kellie and Rapper, who had doubted her conversion and her loyalty to the Superkids. Meanwhile Daniel Lyon (Kenneth Copeland) and his brother Bartholomew Lyon (Mylon LeFevre) are taking care of children who are turned out on the street. They find out that Commander Kellie is alive and Daniel plans to meet with her. Commander Kellie leaves the Superkids Headquarters to retrace her steps at the demolished Superkid Academy site, and is helped by Rat Pack (Shane Benhoff), a street kid who distracts NME patrols and leads her to the ruins. Here Rat Pack reveals that he knows about the emergency headquarters and helps Commander Kellie's Witness Patrols. Commander Kellie continues alone to the ruins while Ian Drummond (Ian Cantrell), a spy who reluctantly re-enlisted under Major Dread, reveals her whereabouts to Lawmaster Beliar, who effects her capture. Commander Kellie, now apprehended, is first offered a position next to Beliar as an associate in return for her oath of allegiance. Commander Kellie refuses, so Lawmaster Beliar threatens to harm Missy, and gives Commander Kellie time to think it over. By now one of Beliar's aides, The Centurion (Marcus Bishop), pities Commander Kellie and makes it possible for both the prisoners to escape. Commander Kellie sends Missy to contact Paul and Rapper so they can find the rest of the Blue squad, but chooses to stay behind. Meanwhile, Daniel and Bart hack into NME's computers and find out that there will be a trial for Commander Kellie, but that General Fear has rigged the electronic voting system of The People's Tribunal so that the verdict will automatically be against her. Just as they are about to change the system back so that it's fair again, NME discovers them and they are forced to flee with the children to Superkids headquarters. Nevertheless, Rat Pack succeeds in infiltrating the command center and reversing the rigged system. The trial is held and accusations made by Beliar, Major Dread, General Fear, and a false witness who almost messes her lines up. Commander Kellie's response puzzles the court, as she realizes that she's giving witness of the Christian faith for the sake of the Centurion who seems to be listening to her message. Just before the sentance is passed Ian, the reluctant spy, testifies on Commander Kellie's behalf and joins her against the court. Then Daniel and Bart Lyon come in with a crowd of supporters to testify on her behalf, and then a professor and his daughter join them, whose deaths had been one of the charges cited against Commander Kellie.
